Brief Profile
Akali Fulmer is a leader in international education and global engagement, currently supporting international partnership development at the University of West Alabama. She also serves as Director of International Relations for ALIEEP, Chair of Study Alabama, and a member of the Executive Team for NAFSA Region VII.
A strong advocate for global learning, Akali brings extensive experience in international education strategy, study abroad program development, and cross-border collaboration. In 2024, she received the Fulbright International Education Administrator Award to Japan and later led a State of Alabama Delegation visit to India, strengthening international academic partnerships.
